God loves the little children, they’re precious in His sight. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Every year, the children look forward to this day, which is celebrated on the first Friday of October.

They were excited as they came in their party clothes. Some came with food and snacks to share with their friends.

They settled down in the hall and waited patiently, albeit excitedly for the assembly to begin. This year, we had some children performing as well. Two children from Grace 1 class, Kayla Tan and Heng Ke Jin, sang a duet, titled “I do believe” in Mandarin. We have a family of three children singing in Mandarin, “The moon represents my heart.” Their dad played the piano while mum busily adjusted the props. Andrea Yong from Integrity 1, played the piano. Then we had the teachers performing, how the children loved to watch their teachers dancing on stage.

We ended the assembly with a prayer for the children as well as for those all over the world.
