Foundress Day Celebrations
Foundress Day Celebration
It was a day to reflect the rich history of the Good Shepherd mission and celebrate the woman whose vision and dedication provided human and Catholic education to the young and poor. This year, we celebrated 54th Foundress Day in honour of St Mary Euphrasia, foundress of the Good Shepherd Sisters. Good Shepherd Place including Marymount Kindergarten hosts various events and liturgies to honour St. Mary Euphrasia – 24th April.
The children, parents, teachers and management of Marymount Kindergarten celebrated the event with great enthusiasm. The school organized an assembly to witness the life, history and mission of St. Mary Euphrasia. Mrs. Christina Ng was chosen to visit the place of St. Mary Eupharia in France and shared her experiences during the trip.
On 21st April, the management of Marymount Kindergarten also organized a special programme to commemorate this special event. Our theme for the event was “Just Love.” The teachers shared their experiences as Good Shepherd missionaries and shared what love means to them.
It was with pride and pleasure that we celebrated 54th Foundress Day. This is an occasion we all hope to cherish and celebrate for many more years to come!!!
